The Illustrious Alchemy

Continuing october's challenge we have Alchemy. Another elder scrolls online npcs and another one of my favorites. I definitely want to revisit this piece later on. I've included process images with this one and plan on doing so with most of my projects going forward.

Rough gesture concepts for posing. This step tends to be looser in personal work than for commissioned pieces.

Roughing out basic plan for the chosen pose.

Refining the image, correcting anatomy, and roughing out the details.

Final pass on the sketch. Finalizing the details and continuing to refine the overall appearance.

Adding the flat colors. This particular image is using the final sketch has its linework with minor adjustments.
